’Tis The Season CD


This ‘Tis The Season… CD comprises the last of the Doug Duke segments for the Composite Show. As such, they mark the end of the creative partnership between Doug Duke and Walter Dixon.
Consisting of a potpourri of eight highly entertaining 15-minute segments, the Composite show aired on radio station WHAM weeknights from 10:00 Pm to midnight during 1961 and 1962. In collaboration with Walter Dixon, Douglas Duke recorded a total of 65 segments for the Composite Show. Fifty-two of them were found in Walter Dixon’s library of recorded professional work.

This Time Between On Christmas Eve program aired over radio station WHAM at 11:15 PM on Christmas Eve 1961. It was the last in a series of 29 Time Between programs recorded by Walter Dixon, Douglas Duke and Edward Mitchell through their jointly owned corporation, Dew Productions.
The Time Between was heard by the WHAM listening audience on Sunday nights throughout 1961 and 1962.
