THE 1966 ARRANGERS’ HOLIDAY
August 4th
The Case Of The Missing Manuscript
Ratman And Bobbin From August 1966 Arrangers Holiday
For the 1966 Arrangers’ Holiday skit, Walter used the well known parody, Ratman and Bobbin, to create a musical mystery filled with non-stop spoonerisms and alliterations.
The cast is: the story teller, the hero and his sidekick, Ratman and Bobbin, and their nemisis, the Demonic Diddler.
The plot: The Gothic City Symphony was to play the premier performance of a musical masterpiece under the baton of Meistro Melbrook. The Demonic Diddler spirited away the musical masterpiece and replaced it with a cacophony of his diabolical discourse and a number of musical mysteries from which Ratman and Bobbin must derive the clear-cut clues needed to answer the Diddler’s riddle.
